I've grown to love this band. My aunt and uncle invited me to see them last October at the Nokia Theater L.A. Live (right across from Staples Center) and it's SO beautiful. The opening acts, which were The Stills and We Are Scientists, were good. I never heard of The Stills and they put on a good show. I've heard of We Are Scientists because of their song "Nobody Move, Nobody Get Hurt." [That song is awesome live]

My background is KOL and the song is "Sex On Fire". "Sex On Fire" is amazing live

I wasn't allowed to film but I took so many pictures!

Ah, so I haven't been here in a while. Okay, the title refers to my friend/concert buddy/possible prostitute[?] [jk]

We went to the mall on February 16th since my sister decided to take us.

I told my friend "You're probably gonna spend $300 right?"

She simply replied "How do you know?" and my nephew Justin looked at her like "Are you serious?!"

I just knew she would spend a lot because this isn't the first time it's happened.

We get to the mall and we hit up Hot Topic, who's currently gaga for "Twilight"
(Uh...same with me and I'm a 23 year old stuck in a 16 year old's body)

So we just look around. We planned to hit up the AMC because I wanted to see "Friday The 13th" but we were broke.

We headed to American Eagle and there she just picked out random tops and pants her size and didn't care if they fit her.

I just told her "What if they don't fit you?" No, she didn't give a fuck.

Since she has an account and credit from AE, she spent, yes $415.

WHAT. THE. FUCK?!

That's almost the same amount my last cell phone bill (Oh I texted a lot) before I got disconnected!

She didn't care about the bill she was gonna get a few days later.

So a few days later I called her regarding the bill. Her reply:

"Mom looked at it. She had a serious look on her face and she's gonna pay for it."

Translation: Mom was pissed but decided to pay for my bill since I don't know how.

I need a job fast. Why? Well, I was on Ticketmaster and I was gonna buy my Escape The Fate at the House Of Blues tickets since I have an account there but the temptation is killing me.

Part of me was like "BUY THEM! IT'S JUST TWO TICKETS!" and the other is like "No! Don't get them! How are you gonna pay your credit card bill?"

So I got off Ticketmaster.com and went on MySpace. I need to update a couple of things, delete a few blogs, and edit a video.

I'm on YouTube and listening to Daniel Bedingfield. I totally forgot about him since his sister Natasha exploded on the music scene.

I also forgot how amazing Daniel's voice is...especially in "If You're Not The One" (back then, I "sang" it with him as a duet..lol. Come on I was 17.)

Lisa Johnson (Rock Photographer) is amazing! Lisa has photographed bands like Aiden, Rage Against The Machine, Nirvana and more. She also photographs the Warped Tour every summer.

But that's HALF of the reason she's amazing! I was on my MySpace earlier and I got a comment from her! She usually doesn't comment since she's so busy (probably) but I think she commented my page because I left a picture comment on Aiden's MySpace picture "Another picture by Lisa Johnson, my all time favorite photographer."

I love this woman more than ever. I first saw her at an Aiden show in 2007 and a year later while I was another Aiden show, she came up to me and my friends and she told me to hold up a white Madina Lake button a street teamer gave me hours earlier. I complimented her work and she was pleased.

OMG...getting a comment from her totally made my day.

That's all I can when I'm thinking of I Am Ghost's record release show! Getting there early [not early morning early. More like "before-security-searches-you" early] was amazing because for the first time in a long time I got barricade from beginning to end! I took over 170 pictures. Here's another picture that I like.

Before the show, I met a girl named Crystal. She's really cool. I also met Sean, who went to middle school with me.

So, yeah, the show was so amazing! I got a chance to meet [almost] all of them. I didn't meet Tim Rosales but that's fine. I met him at Warped Tour 2007.

When I met Steve, he was like "Hey! Did you enjoy the show?" I replied "I sure did! It was...so awesome!" and as he signed my new poster ["Those We Leave Behind" album cover] and this happened.

Me: You can put my name if you want.

Steve: Okay, what's your name?

[NOTE: It's okay that he didn't remember it. It has been a year since we met.]

Me: Fatima. F-A-T-I-M-A.

Steve: Hey...I recognize your name...MySpace...leave us a comment okay?

Me: -thinking Oh shit...-Okay. Thank you so much. Can I get a picture?

-I ask a random lady to help me. I thank them and tell Steve "I hope I see you next year!"-

like I said I would if I missed the last day of Warped Tour. I did miss it which was pretty sad. Oh well. I'm just waiting until next summer for Warped Tour 2009. Let's hope it kicks off in Pomona again.

Anyway, I'm so excited that I Am Ghost are releasing a follow up to "Lovers' Requiem"! "Those We Leave" behind is an amazing record and it's not even out yet! Steve Juliano gave us fans [who have a Stickam account] a little listening party as he was drawing back in June I think. Yes, he's an *amazing!* artist. I asked him on Stickam if the art work had a name, and he told me that it was part of some type of comic book. I think. I honestly forgot.

On Tuesday, I walked my ass to the FYE in Monrovia and bought my ticket. I thought this show would be sold out because IAG likes to "taunt" [but not really] fans by saying "GET TICKETS BEFORE THEY SELL OUT!" You have no idea how nervous I was and not to mention impatient.

Me: -waits by the Ticketmaster "box office"-

Girl: Hi!

Me: Hi. Um. One ticket to I Am Ghost at The Glasshouse please.

Girl: At the where?

Me: The Glasshouse. October 12th.

Girl: Okay, I Am Ghost. Will you be paying cash or credit?

Me: Cash.

Girl: -prints out my ticket while I get my money. Total is around $16. She puts ticket on the table- Okay -reads ticket-

She goes on saying to be careful, how there's gonna be no returns and not to expose it to extreme heat. I know all these facts. I don't know why she has to tell me...and why do I need to sign the back of my ticket?

After I thank her and whatnot, I blast the shit out of my iPod..well, I blasted "Killer Likes Candy". I would have brought my CD player but "Lovers' Requiem" won't play. The CD is brand new [bought it at FYE earlier this year and it was the very last copy] and I don't know why it plays all my other CD's but not this one.

I can't wait to see them live again and randomly my dad told me he can't take me to Pomona. I was about to lose all hope until he told me how to get to The Glasshouse.

He told me to take the Metro line 287. That takes me to the El Monte Station. Then he said to take the Foothill Transit Silver Streak Eastbound. That takes me to the Pomona TransCenter and from the TransCenter, I take a two minute walk to the venue.

I'm thinking of documenting my journey. It will be on YouTube. I need a title. I have a few that I'm thinking of.

My first video will be talking about the show but I won't make it until October 11th, the day before the show.

Warped Tour Carson-LAST DAY!

I have to go to the last day of Warped Tour...or I'll kick a panda in the ass. I bought my ticket yesterday [My $60 from watching Jenny and Justin=GONE!]

I'm hoping to go with Sara and her friends Vanessa and Adam.

Rise Against is gonna be there! Dude! It would be so amazing to see RA again. I haven't seen them since they opened for My Chemical Romance last year.

There's so many bands I have to see like:

Cobra Starship
The Academy Is...[even though I already saw them]
Ludo
Four Year Strong
